Consul General Of the Republic of El Salvador in Houston
Israel Alexander García López, took over as consul general of the Republic of El Salvador in the city of Houston, Texas, with jurisdiction in the State of Louisiana on February 20th.
Mr. García was born in March 1985, the son of enterprising parents, who instilled in him at all times how necessary the constant hard work is to achieve big dreams.
In 2006 he emigrated to Spain, specifically to the city of Madrid, a country that opened its doors and allowed him to grow professionally and as a person, and in which throughout his career he has worked as a broadcaster, team manager, and in which, since 2015 he has been part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of El Salvador, getting the position of vice-consul at the age of 33, and later on promoted to consul, and consul general.
He holds a double master's degree in business administration and management, and team management, as well as a postgraduate degree in financial management and accounting, studies carried out in the Isabel 1st International University of Castilla, in the city of Burgos, Spain.
There is no doubt that his humanitarian outlook and closeness with the Salvadoran diaspora is one of his personal premises, as he considers the reason of every civil servant is the people for whom they work for.
With his dynamism and innovative ideas, he has come to the city of Houston to work for a government project that has a lot to offer.
