The fourth version of  “Houston: Gateway of the Americas” is being co-hosted by the Greater Houston Partnership and the Ibero America Consular Group, part of the Consular Corps of Houston.

GHP’s president and CEO Bob Harvey, Senior Vice President of Economic Development Susan Davenport, and Senior Vice president of International Investment and Trade John Cypher will be part of the program, coordinated by Assistant to the International group Monica Hernandez.

Grupo Consular Iberoamericano (GCI)

GCI (Grupo Consular Iberoamericano) The Ibero America Consular Group is made up of the consuls of the Americas plus the consuls of Spain and Portugal, two European countries strongly linked to the Americas. In addition, two recently departed Deans of the Consular Corps of Houston, Juan B. Sosa and Gabriel Volpi, round up the Ibero America Consular Group. The presence of the Consular Group of Ibero America is a key element in the conference, due to their important role in promoting and bringing opportunities between Houston and Ibero America.
